The Whizzer Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

In Illinois it is a crime to visit Six Flags Great America and not get at least one ride on the classic Anton Schwarzkopf designed Whizzer.

Technically it is not a crime but if the idiots in Springfield made it a crime that'd be one of the few things I could agree with them on.

There may be bigger, faster, and more intense rides but this is the coaster at Six Flags Great America that just feels like home. The Whizzer is an old friend that is always there for you.

The Demon Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

Speaking of old friends The Demon is one of those childhood friends that like to get you in a headlock and give you a "noogie" whenever they see you.

Unlike the Whizzer this coaster is showing it's age but it is still nice to be able to get some classic Arrow Dynamics fun in when visiting Six Flags Great America.
