The Whizzer Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

The back seat of Raging Bull is always one of my favorite spots in the park especially as you are whipped down the top of the two hundred and eight foot drop.

Stuff like this makes me happy.  For the last few years Six Flags has remembered hat they exist to create memories for those who walk through the parks gates.  One of the things they have done across the chain is put up little places like this mural where guests can take a snapshot to remember the fun they have had.  Thumbs up Six Flags for remembering why we visit you.

Even though the ride is forty years old the Great American Eagle still towers over Six Flags Great America.

It'd be nice if Six Flags went all out to celebrate the birthday of this classic ride but with the park closed for all of last year and I'm certain budget cuts by Six Flags to optimize as much of their financials through the pandemic the Eagle was only running one side with the blue track sitting empty with no trains in sight and with the steel rails rusty.

The red side was good but there were a few potholes especially heading up into the turnaround.  My dream is that Six Flags sends the Viper's crew over to do a complete refurbishment on the Eagle to really make this coaster fly.
