My guess i
s that Maxx Force will be going well over seventy miles
an hour as you speed through this corkscrew. You are going to
speed through that so fast the world is going to whip right around in
the blink of an eye.
Reading up on Maxx Force I was a little confused. Maxx Force
supposedly has five inversions and I had to go and really study my
photos because you have two inversions on the high point and then the
corkscrew and then there is the reverse Immelmann before you hit the
brakes. That brings the inversion count to four.
Maxx Force will invert you as it heads up into the reverse Immelmann but
half the way up by the looks of it you roll out enough to not be
considered inverted before rolling back upside down before diving down
into the brakes.
Maxx Force looks like fun and I wish I could ride it but my guess is we
won't be riding this until mid-July.
Looking at the ride I have to say that Maxx Force is going to be an
intense and fun but short ride.
Wanting to get a few photos of Viper and Raging Bull from a different
angle I left Bond to lap on Raging Bull while I headed down into
Hurricane Harbor. I do have to say that I was a little surprised
to find that Hurricane Harbor is now a separately gated part of the
park. This was no big deal for me as I have a pass. I don't
know how many years Six Flags Great America has this as a separate
attraction but my guess is they did it due to the massive crowds that it
would get. More than a few times while visiting Six Flags Great
America I have seen the line for Hurricane Harbor all the way out of the
Southwest Territory practically to The Whizzer.
The reason I took a break from coasters with my boy (Bond camped out of
Raging Bull) was to snag a few photos of Viper and Raging Bull.
