Viper holds the distinction of being the only coaster designed and built by Six Flags.



Here is a nice view of Viper, Raging Bull and Maxx Force's double inverting high point.



Normally to get a shot like this with two coasters a photographer has to wait for hours.  Luckily the photography gods smiled on me and I was in the right place and right time.



Viper was patterned after several of the Coney Island Cyclone clones like the Texas Cyclone that ran at the long gone Six Flags Astroworld, the also gone Psyclone at Six Flags Magic Mountain and the Georgia Cyclone  at Six Flags Over Georgia that was turned into a steel coaster last year.



While it is not as insane as the original Cyclone at Coney Island, Viper is the best wooden coaster in the entire Six Flags Chain.
