The Iron Wolf Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

Being B&M's first coaster for their own company they designed and sold it and then used Intamin designed trains and I think that's the problem with this ride.   Getting beat up is not fun and honestly we're not going to miss it much especially since Six Flags Great America is getting the newest creation from B&M which is a "Wing Rider where there's no tracks above or below you and will really blow everyone away like Batman did back in 1992.

Hopefully when Iron Wolf gets to Maryland it gets new trains then it might be a decent coaster.

Goodbye Iron Wolf.  May you never give anyone a migraine or concussion again.

Needing to cool down Bond and I headed into the Pictorium, which was one of the first Imax theaters in the world, to see a show called "Screams and Dreams Part One" which was a history of Great America.  There's some fantastic footage and old commercials from the park in it and I highly suggest if you're a coaster/park geek like myself it's a good half an hour.  Hopefully the park puts "Part Two" up sometimes and maybe sell a DVD of all of the parts as we'd certainly buy a copy.
