The Great American Scream Machine rollercoaster at Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, New Jersey

In my fond remembrances I missed Shockwave but you know what the mind can cloud things like how rough that ride was and how rough the great American Scream Machine is.

Most Arrow Dymanics designed coasters don't age well and when you make it as tall and fast as the Great American Scream Machine is those problems really compound.

I really wanted to enjoy my ride on the Great American Scream Machine but spent most of the ride saying "ow".

I have to say that the rust on the Scream Machine's decorations are kind of fitting. If you like being beaten up then this ride is for you, otherwise hit it for the credit and move along to something better.
