After the show it was time to get up close and personal with the Iron Rattler.  Taking us on our behind the scenes and back country tour was Jeff Siebert and Park President Neal Thurman (He is now heading off to run Six Flags Great Adventure).



The first stop on our tour was the easy part of Iron Rattler to get to.  



Walking down by The Gully Washer rapids ride gave all of us shutterbugs a chance to snap a few terabytes worth of photos.

With a wooden tracked Rattler a giant maintenance disaster something had to be done and whatever replaced it had to be something big, bad and smooth.  That is where Rocky Mountain Construction and Alan Shilke come in.
