Then this ride that looks like it was a loading station for a animal safari ride was down but I won't hold this against the park as it looks like it has been out of operation for quite a while.



As we walked by the rapids ride it suddenly shut down so for whatever reason the ride gods were not happy with us or the park on this lovely June afternoon.



While trying to find some thing that was open we did notice these nifty banners advertising the various Six Flags Parks.  One interesting mess up was if you look at the coaster train on this banner for Six Flags America in Washington DC it clearly shows a train from the American Eagle that is at Six Flags Great America.  If you're going to put a coaster on a banner you might as well put the correct ride with the correct park or some coaster geek like myself will pick it out.



With rides shutting down around us as we worked our way through Six Flags Discovery Kingdom we finally found something that we hoped wouldn't break down on us. 



That was the Butterfly Habitat.
