Venturing deeper into Six Flags Discovery Kingdom we found ourselves surrounded by all kinds of wildlife like this alligator that was wisely napping in the shade.

Then there was this tiger who was also napping.  I totally agree with these animals that midday naps are a wonderful thing.  I could have used one with as much non-stop travel as it took me to get here but I had coasters to ride and coasters take precedent over naps.

Unfortunately some of the rides were taking naps too.

Kong was down.  Then the Tasmanian Devil ride was down.  Then this ride was down.
