As with any job site, some of the miners were busy working...



...and at least one worker is always napping on the job.



Every once in a while a bucket the miners hoped was full of water was lowered to them.  Unfortunately the only thing in the bucket were bags of "Fools Gold" candy from Silver Dollar City's own Brown's Candy Shop.  Preferring actual gold the candy was passed out in to the crowd for all to enjoy.



Eventually the Marvel Cave Mining Companies's foreman called the town hall to order.



All of the work stopped as the meeting began.
