It seems that the Marvel Came Mining Company is in need of some serious capital improvements that require approval from Silver Dollar City's big guy.  Not wanting the idea to be easily shot down behind closed doors, the miners figured there was no way they'd get turned down if they asked in front of all of the citizens of Silver Dollar City.



The "big guy" at Silver Dollar City of course is the mayor and President of Silver Dollar City: Brad Thomas.



What the miners were asking for is some heavy equipment to help them in their quest to find the lost entrance to Marvel Cave.



The miners lead by foreman Jed Campbell presented their case and after a little bit of deliberation Brad gave his approval to the plan.



Before fully getting to the big announcement, as Silver Dollar City is all about storytelling, one of the Marvel Cave Tour Guides came to tell the story of Marvel Cave and Silver Dollar City.  As I have said history is always front and center at Silver Dollar City and this tour guide told the tale about the dark hole in the ground, that is now known as Marvel Cave let to everything that we see around us.
