Outside of being there to experience the new Fire in the Hole I was asked as a friend of the park to help promote the opening of Fire in the Hole to the various media that were invited.  It is a little hard to describe a new ride to those listening or watching without having actually experiencing the ride a few times.  Before all of the VIP's and media arrived I took the new Fire in the Hole for several rides to take it all in..



As someone who was on the second to final train on the original Fire in the Hole back in December I was curious how the new Fire in the Hole would match up with the original?



The new Fire in the Hole is completely perfect.  Not only did Silver Dollar City, Hirscehend Entertainment, and Rocky Mountain Coasters capture the heart and soul of the original, they have fleshed out the story at just the right points to make it a more complete story.
