As spring is the time of rebirth it was nice to see the Heartland Home Furnishings store that caught fire a few years back finally open again.  With a glassblower, the woodworking store, the pottery store and this store that features handcrafted furnishings I could easily blow $50K at Silver Dollar City in a day.  If you don't believe me just give me the money and watch me go. 



 While it was getting warm enough for the American Plunge to operate...



...that water was still quite cold so I passed it up.



It was a little sad to see the old Fire in the Hole all fenced off.



While I miss the musty smelling quirkiness of the original the soul of this classic is still there, just on the other side of the park.
