It was neat taking a look at the original Fire in the Hole all closed
off and silent seeing a few or the rides original theming still hanging
around.
It was a little surprising to see the old Fire in the Hole still
standing. What I'm curious about is what is going to take its
place. My hopes are that once the old ride building is gone they
are able to connect to the midway that heads out to Outlaw Run.
Not having a dead end would breathe a lot of life into that corner of
the park and once this has been removed maybe there will be space for a few additional
rides.
As I was a few steps from Powder Keg so I headed that way for a ride.
Heading on over to the area by PowderKeg's launch it was good to see
that some of the theming has returned including the explosion, rattling
shutters, and the barrel that starts spinning around once the train
launches.
Powder Keg as always was super fun but sadly as a photographer it
is a little hard to get new angles from the limited viewing areas within
the park.
