Negative-G - Silver Dollar City

With Bond headed off into a new life in the Navy later this fall and with the need of one final family trip before the end of the summer we grabbed our masks and headed to Southern Missouri and Silver Dollar City for a day of fun.

Mystic River Falls at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

Bond and I of course spent our day riding coasters over and over as well as spending time with Carrie browsing the shops and enjoying the food at Silver Dollar City all together as a big happy family.

Ok apologies here but this photo is really close to a duplicate of the previous one. It slipped through my editing process. Instead of editing the pages all again I decided to leave it in here because I really like both of them.

Besides needing some family time the reason we chose Silver Dollar City for this trip is that Bond and I really wanted to experience one of the new new rides that opened this year. That ride was the new Mystic River Falls.

Mystic River Falls is a $23 million addition to Silver Dollar City that replaces the aged Lost River of the Ozarks.

Mystic River Falls looks amazing with all of the natural rock and landscaping that went into theming the ride.
