Now if you want to get a better look at Mystic River Falls there were some nice views from the Giant Barn Swing.  The only problem is you only have a few nanoseconds to look as the swing speeds back and forth at forty-five miles an hour.

Spending your time outside in the southern Missouri heat and humidity with a mask on can be a bit hard.  If you need to cool off and not re-inhale your hot and humid breath for a few minutes the Rivertown Playhouse has been transformed into the Rivertown Resting House.  Carrie camped out in here while I took a few rides and when she left the area around where she sat was sanitized in order to keep it clean and safe for everyone who came in later.

There were lots of signs about masks all around the park.  Personally I can't stand wearing them but if that is what it takes so I can visit a park and enjoy rides while keeping my family and friends safe I'll do it.

Powder Keg was running wonderful as usual.  While this is a coaster I can ride over and over with the ride operating only one train and the train only running at half capacity (every other row on all coasters are blocked off for social distancing) I only used my Trailblazer pass to ride it once as the line was long enough already for everyone there.  Yes I love my cut to the head of the line pass that makes it so I can spend more time with my wife instead of waiting in line but I am not going to be a jerk with it.

This wonderfully decadent thing is Fannie's Cookie Butter Cheesecake Mousse.  It is a funnel cake topped with cookie butter cheesecake mousse, cinnamon, powdered sugar, caramel and snicker doodle cookie crumbles.   We didn't have a cake to celebrate our twenty-five years together so this was our celebratory dessert.
