Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

With the pandemic no more can you get up close to the skillets to get an up close smell of that tasty heaven.  I'm fine with the additional fencing as I was able to get a bowl of one of my favorite meals.

One of the things that makes Silver Dollar City stand out in my mind is how a lot of the theming fits so well it is just like it has always been there.

A perfect example is all of the theming around Wildfire.  The ride is themed to the workshop of a crazy inventor and littered all around the site are some of his not so great creations.

With the ride situated on the hillside with the viewing/exit platform overlooking it all Wildfire is really one of the most photogenic coasters out there.

Looking at these photos I feel like when I find a photo with someone having their phone out taking pictures.  I see these people in the front without masks and I'm like come on wear them. Wearing one causes me to have panic attacks and a bad bout of claustrophobia but when you are speeding at sixty miles an hour with the wind at your face you don't feel like you are wearing one.  So if the park calls for them just wear them.
