Wildfire was really Silver Dollar City's first major salvo across the

When Wildfire rolled out of the station for the first time in April of
2001 Silver Dollar City said to the theme park world that they were
coming for their guests with world class rides to go with their world
class park and to the coaster enthusiasts of the world that there was a
new sheriff in town and that bigger or more is not better.

into an thrill packed launched coaster for the whole family was a genius
move. No more unpopular ride plus parts of it were recycled into
Powder Keg for savings on the ride.
