The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Christmas event at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

Here is a view of the access road from Indian Point Road into the construction site.

I did zoom into some of the trailers that were on site to see if we could spot a company name but no luck.

So all we know now is that it is going to be a massive ride.  Looking at the footers it is going to be a steel coaster.  To round it all off if that blue tube in the wood is structure then chances are we are going to see vertical construction started soon.  My guess is by the time Silver Dollar City opens in spring of 2017 we are going to have a pretty good idea what it is going to be.  Any way the view from the Culinary & Crafts School is going to be vastly different and will be a very popular place for coaster enthusiasts to sit and watch while the ride goes up piece by piece.

While I am a little saddened by the loss of trees around Thunderation I will gladly give up some of that mystery for a massive new coaster.

As a photographer it is great to be able to get a few new shots of Thunderation.
