Silver Dollar City is home to the best mine train on the planet.  That mine train is Thunderation.



Thunderation twists and turns down its hillside location and uses the terrain so well that you don't even hit the lift until the ride is 2/3 of the way over with.  Running away from the park and deep in the forest Thunderation is a hard ride to photograph.



All around Silver Dollar City there are neat little interactive things like this Railroad Talking Bucket that just make your visit a little more fun. 



It is a crime to visit Silver Dollar City and not take the Frisco Silver Dollar Line Train for a ride.



There are handbills all over the station for goings on around the area.  I'd certainly like to see the Princess as with a name like Princess Pulchritude she certainly has to be a vision of beauty.
