As you can see in this photo Dragon not only has some pretty low to the ground stretches of track it also dives below ground.  Kind of curious if Dragon Run will have its own underground lair for the dragon?  The renderings of the park that I have seen haven't been too detailed but with almost half a billion going into the project it is a safe bet that this is going to look spectacular.



Building an amusement park on a steep hillside that drops down towards a lake has plenty of challenges.  To keep guests from having to hike up and down hills continuously Oasis leveled off sections and my guess is they will have escalators going between them. 

A level beneath Dragon Run sits Oasis' second coaster:  Shootout.



While Dragon Run looks to be a custom layout Shootout looks to be the same Vekoma Family Shuttle design as Snoopy's Soapbox Racers at Kings Island.



That means that Shootout is going to be a really fun coaster as I thought Snoopy's was great.



It was fantastic seeing Oasis at Lakeport really get off the ground.  I'm more than a little excited to see how much more it transforms over the next eight or nine months before opening in the spring of 2027.

Don't worry I'll be taking three or four more trips past Oasis between now and then.  I'll make sure to get you plenty of photos as it progresses and when it opens.

There you go another park you need to start planning a trip to visit next year.
