Hades is the Greek God of the Underworld. While most people think of it as hell, in Greek mythology Hades ruled over the dominion of the dead. He really wasn't evil but if a soul tried to escape his dominion or if someone tried to cheat death well, then he became a bit enraged.

Hades takes a trainload of riders from the world of the living through Hades domain via it's long tunnel that extends under the parks parking lot so he might get be a bit annoyed with a bunch of interlopers invading his domain every five minutes.

Hades turnaround sits right on the edge of the Wisconsin Dells Parkway which runs right through the tourist trap infested Wisconsin Dells luring families away from various cheese shops and the equally cheesy Tommy Bartlett's Exploratorium.
