Carrie has always loved dolphins and getting to spend some time with one really blew her mind.



Bond was excited to be able to play with a dolphin but he was a little nervous.



All three of got to take a turn with Sonar.  What was weird is Sonar personality wise reminded me of our dog Minnie.  Minnie is named after the song "Minnie the Moocher" because she tries to mooch all of the love and attention she can get.  If you're not petting her enough she nudges you or gives you a sad look that says "you haven't petted me in 3 seconds...don't you love me"?  Sonar did the same thing.  If you weren't petting her enough Sonar would nudge you in order to ask for a little more live or give you a look.



When our time was done Sonar was not happy as she really wanted to keep playing with us.  She really liked Carrie which was not surprising as she is an animal lover and all the animals know it.  Sonar kept splashing her over the wall in the hopes that Carrie would get in the tank and join Sonar for some more fun.



As you can see from Carrie's grin she would have gladly gotten in and went for a swim with Sonar.  Getting to spend some time with Sonar and the rest of Marineland's dolphins was a magical time and something we're not going to ever forget.

I did shoot video of our time with Sonar and it will be later in this trip report.
