What other theme park lets you bring in your own food for a picnic lunch?  I really wish more parks followed Marineland's lead and let guests bring in a picnic.  It would make it easier for a family to spend the money for a day of fun together if they could pack a lunch and not have to leave the park to eat it.



Bond and I looked at my watch and realized that it was three and we hadn't even ben on a ride yet.  It shows how much fun we'd been having at Marineland that it took that long for the thought of rides to percolate into our brains.



Most of Marineland's rides are themed to the animals of the ocean and the animals at the park.



This ride is called the Ocean Odyssey.



It is basically an updated, upsized and up themed version of those small plane rides where you can control weather you go up or down while the ride rotates.  I love how the cars are elaborately themed, each car has a speaker for the rides soundtrack and that the cars actually splashdown at the end of the ride.
