The Arkansas Twister Rollercoaster at Magic Springs Amusement Park, Hot Springs, AR

From most of Magic Springs this is all that you can see of the Arkansas Twister.  If you don't have a map of the park there's no way you'd ever find your way over to ride it so make sure you grab one when you get to the park.

To get to the Arkansas Twister you have to head to the front of the park then take the long walk away from the rest of the park.  Actually you head past Crystal Falls which is Magic Springs water park.

Actually you don't head past Crystal Falls but kind of through it as the Crystal Lagoon slide complex is located on the opposite side of the walkway from the rest of the water park.  That was the new addition for the 2007 season and looks like fun.

After walking way away from the rest of the park eventually you get to the Arkansas Twister.  The reason they put it so far out here I think is the like Big Bad John the Arkansas Twister began its life elsewhere.  It was originally built on a flat plot of land down in Florida and it's kind of hard to find a flat plot of land at Magic Springs.  So my guess that it's all the way out here is that this is the only flat place they could have put it without extensively modifying the ride.
