The Arkansas Twister Rollercoaster at Magic Springs Amusement Park, Hot Springs, AR

The Arkansas Twister originally ran with PTC trains but after the park closed in 1995 I'm not sure what happened to them so when the park re-opened in 2000 they added Gerstlauer trains to it.  While they may run they don't look like they've aged too well.

The Arkansas Twister isn't actually a twister.  It's an out and back coaster that heads even further away from the park so there's not that much you can see of the ride.

The Arkansas Twister originally opened as the Roaring Tiger at Circus World in Florida back in 1978.  It then changed names to Michael Jackson's Thrill Coaster and finally to the Florida Hurricane at the then named Boardwalk & Baseball before that park closed in 1990.  It sat for several years before being purchased for $10,000 and moved to Magic Springs in 1992.

The Arkansas Twister is a fun little out and back.  While I'd like it if it was closer to the rest of the park maybe Magic Springs will build a few more rides out by it to make it more worth the long walk out there.
