Another interesting thing about people being freaked out about X-Coaster is most of the people taking the chicken exit were young men. 



I take the reasoning that there weren't women running for it is they looked up before getting in line and bowed out where the guys didn't want to look bad in front of their buddies by chickening out.



Either way I am not going to complain because each person to bail means that we were going to get on X-Coaster quicker.



The slow lift straight up sets off warning sirens in your head as different as it is.  Hanging there against the lap bar while you wait for the lift to release you is unnerving.  The quick roll at the top disorients you.  Then the face first dive into the station at speed is just raw speed.



Put all of those together and you have a coaster that is totally worth it to drive all the way to Hot Springs. Arkansas.  X-Coaster is a world class ride.  Period.
