The day began with attendees from across the country hanging out by the Makatu Shrine in the land of the Mura.

The Makatu Shrine is one of my favorite bits of theming at Lost Island.  The shrine has interactive features that if you and others work together can trigger different surprises from the shrine.  One thing I was really looking forward to during this day was to see this all lit up along with the rest of the park at night.

The first thing of the day for everyone was a trip on Volkanu:  The Quest for the Golden Idol.   For ACE Gets Lost we were grouped up on teams and had a little competition to see which team could score the highest on this interactive dark ride.

After the Volkanu battle royale it was time to go work our way around the lands of Lost Island.  Larger pendulum rides like Delerium at Kings Island are favorites of mine but I'm not sure if I could handle Mura Fury.  This pendulum ride not only spins you upside down while is also spins you around.  The spin is pretty quick and I chose to pass as I'm not sure if I could survive it.

Shamans Curse was different.   It doesn't spin you around like a top so I decided to take it for a, pun intended, spin.  In the heat of the day I probably wouldn't have fared too well on it but after the sun went down it was a fun ride.
