While working our way around Lakemont Park we hopped on the parks train for a nice little trip.

Oh, fellow coaster enthusiast and local Travis Saunders joined up with us for part of our visit to Lakemont Park.

Lakemont's train takes you past the Skyliner for a nice view of that coaster.

It also takes you out into the woods and through the "Ponyshoe Curve" which is a significantly smaller version of the famous nearby "Horseshoe Curve" that was an engineering marvel when created in 1854 and significantly shortened the time it took to snd railway traffic across the mountains.

Lakemont's train is a nice relaxing way to take a break an get a look at the park.
