It's official Lake Compounce is America's Oldest Park.

We were supposed to meet up with Park, Kevin and Brian at Boulder Dash but they didn't show and most of us had left our cells in the car so Ken, Cory and I hopped on Lake Compounce's train. You can get a great view of Boulder Dash from across the lake.

In addition to seeing Boulder Dash you get a great view of the rest of the park.

This train parallels the lakeside Trolley's course but on the other side of the lake. It takes you out to where Lake Compounce's picnic grove, rapids ride and sky ride are and then takes you back along the same course. I'm curious if some day there will be more on this side of the lake as everything is kind of way out there.
