Part of what makes Montezooma's Revenge such an amazing ride is the launch. There is no magnetic launch system. There are no hydraulic launch system. Montezooma's Revenge is a purely old school hyper engineered mechanical system. This little pusher car is attached to a cable system that is connected via a transmission to a giant flywheel that is constantly spinning.

When the ride operators press the button the clutch engages the cable to the flywheel and...
