The Montezoomas Revenge - The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Con 42 at Knott's Berry Farm, Buena Park, California

Montezooma's Revenge takes you from zero to 55 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds.  While acceleration like that isn't really that impressive in this day and age.  The feel of being yanked down the track when the cable engages the flywheel makes the launch feel faster than it actually is.

After reaching speed Montezooma's Revenge takes you through the rides only loop.

Unlike his competition back in the 1970's Anton Schwarzkopf was not a fan of over the shoulder restraints leaving riders free to do the hole "look ma no hands" position through the loop.

Montezooma's Revenge didn't originally open with a head chopper element to the loop.  Knott's added Jaguar in 1995 and they decided to thread it through Montie's loop.

After the loop Montazooma's Revenge speeds up this spike of track slowing with each inch of track until gravity brings all forward momentum to a stop.  As the saying goes "what goes up must come down" and the basic laws of physics takes over and pulls Montezooma's Revenge backwards.
