One of the goals of the American Coaster Enthusiasts is to promote the preservation of classic rides.

Montezooma's Revenge is not only the last of the Anton Schwarzkopf shuttle loops in the United States but it has always been the best.  As Knott's has preserved "Montie" ACE presented this plaque honoring the ride as a coaster landmark.

Coaster Con's are great for running into old friends.  Back some twenty years ago Robert, Chris and myself got to know each other on the Rec.Roller-Coaster newsgroup on Usenet.  Newsgroups were a social networking system in those days before Myspace, Facebook or Twitter.
