The Grand Carousel at Knoebels brings out more than grin's as those
on the outside of row of horses get a streak of competitiveness as one lucky
rider will reach out and snag the brass ring as they circle on the ride
getting ring after ring from the ring machine with each pass.
If you get the brass ring then you get tickets for a free ride and Bond
did just that. If you don't grab the brass ring then at the end of
the ride you can toss your handful of rings in the lion's mouth as you pass
by.
Here are Draven, John, Corey and Chris getting ready to get twisted on The
Twister.
The Twister is another of Knoebels history geek projects as it is a recreation
of a famous John Allen designed coaster that ran at Denver's Elitch Gardens
from 1964 to 1994.
With a name like Twister one would expect a mass of twists, turns and a
giant double helix that weaves its way through the middle of the structure.
