On the other side of Kings Island Orion is certainly an insane amount of fun but if I was forced to choose between that and Diamondback the latter is hands down the coaster that I'd choose.



Despite being eighty five feet taller Orion is only thirty-nine feet longer than Diamondback leaving you wanting at least five hundred more feet of track.  Diamondback on the other hand takes all of that energy and uses absolutely all of it with drops, hills, twists and turns.



On top of the track layout I am a huge fan of Bolliger & Mabillard's stretch trains on this with the outside seats being placed a few feet behind the middle seats giving riders a very alone out there feeling.



Throw in a really amazing splashdown finale...



...and Diamondback is by far the best coaster over 200 feet in height at Kings Island.
