This menacing ride is the Vortex.



Here's the Vortex from the Beast's second lift hill.



Surprisingly you can get a little bit of airtime in the back seat of the Vortex.



Thankfully last year they repainted the Vortex so it looks wonderful now.



One of the things that I really like about the Vortex is that instead of immediately diving into a loop it takes you up a hill and turns around a bit before heading to the obligatory loops.
