Here's one of the Beastie's trains.
They're a Junior PTC model so it's almost impossible for two adults
to fit in them but is a fun ride anyway.
Here the Beastie speeds around it's
first turn. Do not miss this fun ride your next trips to
Kings Island and it's a joy to ride.
The Vortex is one of those few Arrow
multi looping coasters that do not start by diving right into a loop.
It has six inversions and all in all isn't a bad ride.
The boomerang on the Vortex is really
placed very well. It is right next to the walkway between Rivertown
and Coney Island.
The Vortex exists the loop to head
into a wicked helix that looks like a loop that has been laid on it's
side. I think that out of the mega-looping coasters that came
to be in the later 1980's and early 1990's the Vortex is probably the
best of all that I have ridden.
