The Beast is one of the best wooden coasters in existence.  You can't see much of it from the park because it speeds through 35 acres of heavily wooded terrain.  The park brakes this ride a bunch and I have never ridden it brakeless but it's still a great ride.  Basically it reminds me of a long mine train styled coaster (and you know how I love mine trains) which speeds through the woods and tunnels.  If you only ride this once make sure it's at night!  The Beast really comes out when the sun is down.

This is the last of the Beast that you'll see until it returns to the station.

This land clearing behind the King Cobra is the Beast's spawn....the Son Of Beast.  It's not going to be as long as the Beast but it's definitely bigger with over a two hundred foot drop and a bit rebellious with a loop on a wooden coaster!  Yes you read me right this Beast will be the first modern coaster to feature an inversion.  Another great feature to go along with the loop is that the cars will NOT have shoulder harnesses but will have lap bars.  COOL!

This is the Adventure Express which is an Arrow Dynamics mine train.  You can't get many pictures of this ride as it is buried in the trees.  It seems like a mine train on speed with very large (for a mine train) drops and speed.  The first two visits to the park I passed this by but this time I found out what I missed!  This is one of the best rides in the park and not to be missed!
