After flying through the station you go through a boomerang which flips you upside down twice then through a loop and up the second lift.  The one thing I don't like about Invertigo's and Boomerang's is that on their second hill they have a lift.  I mean I really like Schwarzkopf shuttle coasters where after the initial launch you go up a hill and the coaster stalls naturally and then falls back through everything.

I was really impressed with Face Off.  It seems that Vekoma has finally gotten it's act together by making a smooth ride.  I mean head on down to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and try out their boomerang or their inverted coaster and you'll get beaten senseless and on Face Off it's as smooth as glass.  Also instead of flying up the lift backwards and them speeding down into the station brakes the lift chain catches the coaster and slowly returns you to the station.  I really look forward to more of these rides at more parks.

The King Cobra is the oldest stand up coaster in the US.  There were several before this I believe such as the Extremescreamroller at Worlds of Fun which was an Arrow Corkscrew with modified trains and the River King Mine Train at Six Flags St. Louis before the trains were removed due to a death.

After the loop you head into a great helix and then several hills with great airtime and around into the station.  One of the things I really like is the restraints.  basically each arm goes through a harness that goes across your chest with a lap bar keeping you in place.  Being used to shoulder harnesses these feel very minimalist and free.  I like it.
