The Intimidator 305 Roller Coaster - The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Con 41 at Kings Dominion, Doswell, Virginia

I just loved every single lap on Intimidator 305 especially as the nights went on. As park closing neared Intimidator 305 sucked us in for lap after lap as it was too good to get off.

There are three rides that really make Kings Dominion for me. One is Avalanche and the other two are pictured here.

Heading back to the bottom of Intimidator's drop we were treated with some wonderful views of the legendary Racer 75.

The Racer 76 Roller Coaster - The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Con 41 at Kings Dominion, Doswell, Virginia

Racer '75 up until recently was known as the Rebel Yell. It had a starring role in the movie "Rollercoaster". That is part of the reason that ACE chose to have this Coaster Con at Kings Dominion because the club began right here. During a promotional ride marathon for the movie those who came together to ride over and over came to the realization that "hey there are others like me" and as a result the American Coaster Enthusiasts" came into existance.

Here is one more photo of Intimidator 305 for you. You might notice the nice puffy white clouds are starting to look not so friendly. Well it was super hot out, it was super humid out and from this point on come four of five in the afternoon massive thunderstorms would develop overhead completely saturating the park shutting everything down sending us all running for cover.
