Kemah Boardwalk including the Boardwalk Bullet rollercoaster in Kemah, Texas

Down by the Boardwalk Inn on the western end of the Boardwalk they have a nice plaza which is perfect for concerts or any of the other events that are always happening there year round.

The band we caught for Rock the Dock was "The Slags".  We caught some really great covers of "Barracuda", "Crazy Train", "Jump" and a few others.  They were really good.

I did like that while parents can sit and enjoy the show kids have the option to run and play in the fountain.

Fountains like this are so much fun.  Bond spent countless hours running in and out of fountains like this one when he was little.  Just a little parenting tip for you all make sure to pack a dry set of clothes and a towel for your little ones as it makes going home and the rest of the evening easier.

With a drive to San Antonio ahead of is Bond and I headed for the Boardwalk Bullet for a few more rides.

The Boardwalk Bullet blew both of us away on our first ride of the day but when we got there after supper and after the track had a nice soaking from a rain shower it was unhinged.  Looking back a few months later as I write this while I love all of the coasters we rode in Texas this is the best coaster in the state the way it is running.  If you haven't been to Kemah before or it has been a few years you owe it to yourself to go and visit.

Thank you to everyone at the Kemah Boardwalk and Landry's Inc. for having us and showing us such an amazing time.
