The Steel Hawg roller coaster at Indiana Beach, Monticello Indiana

Over by the All American Triple Loop sits the parks Steel Hawg coaster.

Steel Hawg when it opened had the steepest drop on any coaster in the world.

Quickly whipping over the rides 111 degree first drop certainly gets the adrenaline pumping for all that take the Hawg for a spin.

Even after dozens of rides on Steel Hawg knowing how insanely intense this drop is, it is hard not grab ahold of the restraints in terror.

Steel Hawg is an "El Loco" coaster by S&S and looking at the layout of these compact, tall and really twisted coasters the name for the model is perfect.
