The first drop on Steel Hawg is just the start of the insanity.
This reverse banked turn makes riders feel like they are going to get
thrown out of the car as it speeds around it.
Steel Hawg is an extremely compact coaster that takes up a fifty
foot by two hundred-and four foot section of real estate.
With such a small footprint most of the ride is wrapped around the
coasters hundred foot tall lift hill.
S&S has made six of these since Steel Hawg opened in 2008. As much
as they pack into an insanely compact space I'm kind of surprised there
aren't more of these out there especially at parks with limited space.
