When Indiana Beach announced this coaster they didn't quite have a name
for it. There was some speculation that it was just going to keep
being known as it's original name: Drier Looping. Eventually Indiana
Beach picked a similar name for the ride: The All American Triple Loop.
The All American Triple Loop begins with a tire driven lift hill that
wraps around the ride up to the highest point before sending you down
this one hundred foot drop.
After speeding down that hundred foot drop the All American Triple Loop
sends you rocketing back up into the sky at fifty-three point four miles
an hour.
The first third of the All American Triple Loop is spiraling drops
and then a spiraling climb up into one of the rides block braking
section before sending you spiraling back down into the rides three
loops.
When this coaster opened up to the public in June of 1984 at a fair in
Hannover Germany it was the first coaster with three vertical loops.
Anton and Werner Stengel really made a wonderful work of art with this
one. Despite the ride not being up and running like any good work
of art it moved me without even climbing aboard it.
