The Tig'rr rollercoaster that
is actually a Jet Star rollercoaster that was designed by one of the
pioneers of steel coasters, Anton Schwarzkopf. It is the most
intense coaster for the space that it occupies.
In a space that's just 144
feet deep and 88 feet wide the Tig'rr has over 1700 feet of twisting
and dropping track packed into it.
In 1999 in honor of Anton Schwarzkopf's
75th birthday I spent an afternoon taking
75 laps on the Tig'rr
and can attest that it's a fun and an extremely re-ride able rollercoaster.
The Tig'rr normally seats two
to four riders but when we were there six people crammed into a car
and my thought was that if they weren't related when they got on they
would be by the time they got off of it.
