On
our big
Kentucky
Kingdom, Carowinds,
and
Dollywood trip we tried to break up the drives so we weren't in the
car more than six hours at any stretch it made sense to add a stop at
Holiday World as it is perfectly placed between Dollywood and home.

In addition to keeping from being in a car all day I was looking forward
to visiting Holiday World as it is a park that is near and dear to my
heart.

From 2002 to 2007 I loved down the street quite literally. Holiday
World was a place for fun, having it nearby helped me through some
really difficult times, it is a place where I met so many wonderful
people who are now part of my coaster family, and the park has some of
the best coasters that I was needing to get another few laps on.

As my last visit to Holiday World was seven years ago I was curious as
to what has changed to this amazing park. Free sunscreen up in the
dry part of the park is a small and nice change to the park.

Back when we lived here there wasn't anyone who worked rides at Holiday
World that I didn't know. As it has been almost twenty years
since we moved away this visit felt kind of like an alumni visiting
their school decades later. You just now that you'd be
running into a few familiar faces but you never did.
