Before heading into Holiday World to join in the HoliWood Nights enthusiast event we had to complete Charlotte and Bond's Christmas gift with a pair of season passes.  With the wedding a month away and Bond moving back to Southern Indiana it was a perfect gift for the two of them.  The last time Bond had a season pass was in 2006 when he was six years old.  Amusingly Holiday World still had that photo in their system.  Needless to say we had to update it as he does look a little bit different thirteen years later.



Don't call me Shirley but this years HoliWood Nights was themed to the classic comedy "Airplane".



One of the changes to the park that I noticed was that they Applause Award has been removed from the fountain.



These ornaments look nice but I really liked that Holiday World had the Applause Award front and center.  I remember all of the hard work that everyone at the park went through to make sure that Holiday World looked amazing for the judges and to have all of that hard work acknowledged was a really nice thing.  I'm not sure why they removed the award statue but I hope it is brought back out into the park somewhere to acknowledge the rare achievement of winning an industry wide award.



The new addition for 2019 is not a ride or a slide but it is a replacement to Kringle's Kafe.
