The Firecracker is a Calypso ride and it is kind of a super sized scrambler that is tilted on the side.



Calypso's are one of my favorite flat rides and I would like to send out a huge thank you to Holiday World for saving this one.  In my opinion every amusement park needs a Calypso to round out their collection.



When we lived down the block Holidog's FunTown was Bond's neighborhood playground.  It has been a long time since we were back in the town and I wanted to go and check it out.



Woah!!!! Where are the kick ass cool jungle gym play structure with killer slides that Bond used to spend hours and hours running around, climbing up and having a complete blast sliding down.



I guess at some point Holiday World ripped out the awesome play structure that filled Holidog's FunTown and added this kind of underwhelming play structure.
