Bond has that nice "I'm not in school and getting to geek out with a brand new coaster" air of contentment to him

Bond took almost as many photos as I did and they are really damn good.  Now I just need to teach him how to code and he will be posting his own Trip Reports here.

When Will was alive and running Holiday World he was always about keeping trees as shade and just the feel of having a park covered with them was a big thing to him.  About a decade ago he even had over four hundred trees planted all around the property just to eventually give the property more shade for guests.

What was nice was while back on the media walk back I was sitting there talking with Paula Werne who is Holiday World's Director of Public Relations and we overheard Lauren and Leigh talking nearby about how nice it was that they were able to save several of the trees close to the ride.  Paula chuckled and said with a grin to me "Who did they get that from".

Will would have kept the trees and I'm sure he was smiling down on his kids for following in his lead.  It is pretty obvious that his legacy and park is in very good hands.

Speaking of being in good hands here is a picture of myself and Bond.  This should frighten many of my long term readers but as of this photo Bond has a learners permit and is behind the wheel of a car that doesn't have a guide rail down the center of the road.
