You do get a bit wet on the way down if you're in the front from all of the spray.

We ended up getting four rides on Pilgrims Plunge Saturday morning before the park opened and went back for a ride later in the day.  Later in the day the queue was full which was no big deal because it was always moving but what was just kind of weird was as the line goes along people just start whipping off clothes.  I'm no prude but people stripping while in line for a ride is something that I'm not used to.

It's pretty awesome that Holiday World has a place where you can put your clothes and shoes before getting on Pilgrims Plunge because I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who hates walking around in squishy shoes for the rest of the day so I normally avoid most rides that will get me drenched.  The way Holiday World handles this is awesome and it'd be nice to see a station layout like this on other water rides.

Our first ride was Mike and Bond in the front and Corey and I in the back.  After that ride I was a bit unimpressed because at the end I was still dry.  We went again just the four of us but with Corey and I in the front and I finally got wet.

The splash was a bit better with a full boat.  The thing is you don't have a massive bow wave when you hit the water like you get on your average Shoot the Chutes ride but instead get sprayed until you're wet.
